Dubai International Airport Overview
The Dubai Airport is officially known as the Dubai International Airport and it is a public international airport that is located in the United Arab Emirates. Back in the year 2012, the Dubai International Airport had more than 57 million passengers fly through their facility for the duration of the entire year as well as more than 2 million metric tons of freight. This particular airport is one of the most prominent hubs for the entire Middle East and adds to the Dubai economy quite severely by employing more than 50,000 people and supporting more than 200,000 other jobs that are linked to the airport indirectly.
There are 2 runways up and running at the Dubai International Airport, both of which are comprised of asphalt and measure 13,000 feet in length.
