Bandar Abbas Airport Facts
Bandar Abbas international airport serves the Bandar Abbas province, the capital city of Hormozgan province located in Iran. The airport functions in dual way and supports both civilian transport and also acts as a military base. The military components are catered at the northern wing of the airport where hardened aircraft shelters are found along with an arsenal for secure storage of the air - ordinance. There are two runways at this airport, and are paved with asphalt concrete and tar macadam. There is no much information available on the other perks and facilitates such as food and beverage centres, ATM spots and money exchange facilities available at the airport premises.

Domestic flyers do occupy their runways as well.
