Muscat International Airport (MCT)

Oman is a country featuring long, sandy beaches and palms; It is an excellent place to go to if you would like to experience the Middle East! The best way to go there of course is by plane: Muscat International Airport is already the largest airport in Oman and still growing! The work will be finished in 2014. However, it is already quite an awesome place. 32 kilometers outside of Muscat City it offers connections to destinations all over the world and will make your stay unforgettable! The building offers 1,200 m² of duty free stores that feature all kinds of goods! Especially the restaurants to be found everywhere are amazing. At the Muscat International Airport you can try Southern Indian, Indian fusion, Lebanese and European cuisine! You may also want to grab a drink at one of the coffee shops!

The Muscat International Airport offers a wide variety of destinations nearly all around the globe! Many airlines fly to Far East destinations like Lahore, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Dhaka, Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi, Islamabad, Karachi, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur or Tehran-Imam Khomeini. Of course various Middle Eastern destinations can be reached, too! In Europe you may choose between London-Heathrow, Frankfurt, Milan-Malpensa, Munich, Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Zurich and some airports in Africa are scheduled as well!
