Al Ain Airport Facts
Al Ain International Airport is Abu Dhabi's second one. However, it is not as big and luxurious as the Abu Dhabi International Airport. It is located 18Â kilometers from the city center of Al Ain. The city just has about 400,000 residents and is therefore not as important as the city of Abu Dhabi. The airport consists of just one terminal and will be extended because of growing traffic. It features two restaurants that serve quality meals. A coffee shop and a self service cafeteria are included, as well. Shops and retail stores with international brands are located in a duty-free complex. Nice features of the airport are a picnic area where you can relax during your layover and a children's playground. A medical service for all heat-sensitive people and everyone else not feeling good is included as well.
Arrivals and Departures
The airport is used by eight airlines that connect to eight destinations in the Middle East (Bahrain, Cairo, Tehran-Imam Khomeini, Kuwait, Beirut, Muscat, Doha, Amman-Queen Alia) as well as Dhaka and Karachi.
