Al-Najaf International Airport (NJF)

The AL Najaf international airport serves the Najaf province in Iraq and is located exactly on the eastern side of the city. It was formerly used as a military base and consists of a single asphalt paved runway which is about 3000 meters long. Though it is a small airport, it is continuously expanding to provide two arrival terminals and four departure gates with excellent passenger and immigration services. Other services that form a part of its renovation process includes the VIP lounge, taxiway, arrival and departure terminals, Navigation aids, food and beverage facilities, lodging site to serve employees etc. The airport has been slowly improving this civil flight service to different far off nations and has been showing constant improvement in rendering best air service to foreign nations.

The Arabia international airlines which is about to start its functionalities from august 4^th 2013, to cover Jeddahm Kuala Lampur, Kuwait, Medan, Surabaya etc., Cham wings airlines connecting Iran with Damascus, Gulf air, Ian air, Fly Dubai, Gryphon Airlines that covers Kuwait and Baghdad, Qatar Airways Royal Falcon, Taban Air, Syrian air, Wings of Lebanon etc.
