Latakia Airport (LTK)

Latakia is a beautiful city at the coast of the Mediterranean Sea! It has nearly one million residents and is a very interesting historic and tourist site! It is also the main port of Syria so if you arrive here you may want to go on a cruise ship! The Bassel Al-Assad International Airport is located about 25 kilometers away from the city and 32 kilometers from its center. It is one of the most sophisticated airports in Syria. All travelers it offers various restaurants, bars and cafeterias where you can relax during your layover or before your departure!

Arrivals and Departures

The Bassel Al-Assad International Airport was once a hub for plenty destinations in Asia, Africa and Europe, connecting all three continents. Due to the Syrian Civil War lots of connections were ceased. At the moment there is a just Syrian Air flies from and to Cairo, Damascus and Kamishly. A reincorporation of the other connections can be expected as soon as Syria is safe again.
