Kuantan Airport (KUA)

Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Airport is one of the most important and familiar airport in Malaysia. This airport is situated in the city Kuantan under the state Pahang. The distance between the airport and the city is about fifteen kilometers. This airport handled more than 226,912 passengers in 2009 by 3110 flights. Sultan Haji Ahmed Shah Airport has the amazing passenger handling capacity of million passengers per year.  To develop business activities, this airport also offers cargo service within the country. Sultan Haji Ahmed Shah Airport is located only 15kilometers away from the main city Pahang. It operates various flights internally. Among them, China Airlines, Firefly and Malaysia airlines are very popular.  China airlines operate seasonal flights between Taipei to Taoyoun. Firefly works in Penang and Singapore and Malaysia airline operates their flights in only Malaysia.
