REACH was founded in 1987 by Dr. John L. McDonald, Jr. He dedicated his life to helping others through the enhanced delivery of emergency medical care. His guiding principle was to “always do what is right for the patient”.
REACH has provided safe and expedient patient-centered care for nearly 30 years. In that time, over 90,000 patients have received essential emergency care as a result of our transport availability. We currently maintain 18 medically equipped helicopters, eight airplanes and nine ground ambulances. Each of our employees is compassionate, highly trained and 100% committed, from our pilots and aircraft maintenance technicians to our flight nurses and paramedics to our executive and administrative staff.
