In July 1997 Corporate Wings began development of the industryâ€™s first nationwide previously owned aircraft fractional ownership program under the name Flight Options, Inc. In October 1998, Flight Options was formally launched at the 51st Annual NBAA Convention in Las Vegas, NV.Flight Options provides fractional jet ownership services, in which customers share ownership and are guaranteed access to a particular type of aircraft operated by the company. Its fleet of some110 aircraft includes Nextant, Hawker, Cessna, and Embraer jets. Its service area spans the continental US and locations within 200 miles of its borders. Besides fractional ownership, Flight Options offers a membership program, JetPASS, that gives customers access to various aircraft, and Jet Membership Club, a hybrid between JetPASS and fractional ownership. Investment firms Directional Capital and Resilience Capital own a majority stake in Flight Options.
