Known as the national flag carrier airline of Cambodia, Cambodia Angkor Airâ€™s headquarter is located in the capital city, PhnomPenh. The airline is under the owners of Cambodian government (51%) and Vietnam Airlines (49%). It started its operation on 28 July 2009, one day after it was found, replacing Royal Air Cambodge, which had gone bankrupt in 2001.

The fleet for Angkor Air is on loan from Vietnam Airlines. They do not purchase aircraft at all. All of the Angkor Airâ€™s aircraft are now operated by Vietnam Airlines. They consist of the following leased aircraft with an average age of 3 years.
