Era Alaska is an airline headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska, United States. It operates a network of services from Anchorage as part of an Alaska Airlines Partnership. Its primary hub is Anchorage Airport. The airline now serves as the largest air carrier in the state of Alaska by connecting more cities and passengers, utilizing the largest airplane fleet in Alaska.
Era Alaska was formed from the merger of The Frontier Alaska Group, Frontier Flying Service, Era Aviation, and Hageland Aviation. In 2010, the partnership was re-branded as "Era Alaskaâ€. The company has been flying here for about as long as Alaska's been a state. Era Aviation is one of the earliest pieces of the Era Alaska which began operations in 1948. Frontier Flying Service was founded in 1950. The youngest member of Era Alaska"s extended family is Hageland Aviation Services which began his Alaska operations in September 1981. Frontier and Hageland combined in 2008 to form the parent company HoTH and rebrand their new services as "Frontier Alaska". The following year, with the acquisition of Era, Frontier Alaska was rebranded as Era Alaska.
Era Alaska family is now proud to offer scheduled service to more than 100 communities statewide, including many of Alaska"s most popular destinations such as: Anchorage, Fairbanks, Bethel, Cordova, Homer, Valdez, Kenai, Kodiak and beyond.
