Discount and low cost fare from Tokyo to Naha,
Skymark offers cheap flights from Tokyo to Okinawa with the fare is around 24,000, and you are recommended to book airfare in advance for savings.
Naha Airport
Located in the southwest of Naha city on the seashore, Naha Airport (IATA: OKA, ICAO: ROAH) is one of the largest airports in Japan with a runway of 3000m.
Most passengers arrive in Naha, the capital of Okinawa and the only airport that receives regular international flights. Internal flights also connect major Japanese cities directly to some other Okinawan islands such as Miyako and Ishigaki, but the prices can be expensive; for example, the scheduled fare for Tokyo-Ishigaki is a whopping ¥50,000. However, you can save by using an international air-pass like Star Alliance’s Visit Japan.
From the airport, it takes about 10 minutes to get to the city centre by taxi.
Other travel options
Ship presents a good option to travel from Tokyo to Okinawa. For example, the Tokyo-Naha service costs ¥22,000 in the cheapest class and takes no less than 44 hours. Ferry is an other option for you.
