Free baggage allowance varies from international services to domestic services:
Generally speaking, adult and children travelling on Business class have up to 30kg (66 lbs) free baggage. In some cases, adults can bring up to 40kg (88 lbs) baggage (flights between AMS and all destinations, between Indonesia and Australia, from Australia/Japan to Indonesia, adult with Umrah visa from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Saudi Arabi to Indonesia).
Travellers on Economy class can carry 20kg (44 lbs) for free. The exceptions include those which have been mentioned above and: Ethnic (IE) from Australia/Japan to Indonesia (30kg), Student (40kg), Entertainer (30kg), Labor (30kg), Ship’s Crew (40kg), Trainee (30kg).
Infants on both classes are provided with 10 kg (22 lbs) free baggage allowance.
Additional free baggage allowance is applied for customers with: Silver Card (max 5 kg); Gold Card/EC Plus Card (max 15 kg) and Platinum Card/GIC Card (max 20 kg).
Executive class can bring 30 kg baggage and 20kg is for travellers on economy class. Additional baggage policy is similar to that of international services: Silver Card (max 5 kg); Gold Card/EC Plus Card (max 15 kg) and Platinum Card/GIC Card (max 20 kg).
