The Kuwait International Airport is a futuristic place with high growth forecast. It is situated in Farwaniyah which is about 15.5 kilometers south of Kuwait City. The airport serves about 7 million passengers per year and is still extending! In 2016 the new building will be ready to take on 25 million passengers! Nevertheless, it is already quite an awesome place looking at the airport mall of about 32,000 m². It contains shops and service providers of every kind you can imagine. International ones are to be found next to locals. Different food and beverage outlets will help making your stay in Kuwait or your layover at the airport a happy moment. Two first class lounges have also been introduced for you to relax. However, you will never feel too stressed because the unique architecture of the airport (which happens to be one unified complex) allows you to move between the gates by easily foot.
