Aleppo Airport (ALP)

Aleppo International Airport is the secondary hub for Syrian Arab Airlines in the northwest of Syria. It beautifully combines modern and Islamic architecture in one terminal! It features four floors that have different functions: In the basement you will find a prayer room and some stores. On the ground floor there are the Arrivals Hall and the Departures Hall as well as the VIP club rooms. On the 1^st floor there are many duty free shops with products of all kinds! You will also find many restaurants and a nursery! On the 2^nd floor there are even more restaurants and shops! Distributed over the whole building you will find banking facilities, post offices and information desks. Health care is included as well. The airport has a capacity of 1.7 million passengers per year but is currently closed down because of the fightings between rebels and Syrian Army.

Arrivals and Departures

Four airlines offer four destinations from and to this airport: EgyptAir flys to Cairo, Royal Jordanian to Amman-Queen Alia, Syrian Air to Yerevan and Turkish Airlines to Istanbul Atatürk. However, as soon as Syria is safe again other destinations will be incorporated.
