Sky Airline is an Chilean airline based at Comodoro Arturo Merino Benatez International Airport in Santiago, Chile. It is the second largest airline in the country behind rival LAN Airlines, and mostly relies on domestic services. It is owned by its founder, Jurgen Paulmann.
Sky Airline started operations in December 2001 in the Caribbean. In June 2002 Sky initiates its operation in Chile, with flights from Santiago to the northern territory. Since 2005, the company is a member of IATA Clearinghouse, Achila, Alta and Mita.
Main route
The airline serves a number of domestic routes, including: Arica, Iquique, Calama, Antofagasta, Copiapo, La Serena, Santiago, Concepcion, Temuco, Puerto Montt, Balmaceda, El Salvador and Punta Arenas. International destinations include: Peru, Argentina, Bolivia and Brazil. The company also offer charter flights within Chile and to other South American countries.
